Move It! How to Dance

Dance is the universal human language.  You use your body to convey a message or a feeling.  You can dance to music or for no real reason.  You can dance as a mating ritual.  There are even huge social events tied into dancing.  For anyone out of practice or just starting, dancing can be a difficult feat to master.  We’re here with the hidden secrets and great tip that can turn you from a statue into Saturday Night Fever in no time fast.  Just get on the floor and get ready.

1.  Dress To Kill
The right outfit definitely helps with your dancing.  Make sure to dress comfy for one.  then, make sure to be stylish.  You must remember that confidence is key to everything, and the best way to be confident is to make sure you look good.  Find a nice suit or dress or tunic.  Wear that. I needs to allow for freedom of movement as well as not be too heavy for extended gyration.  Once you’ve got the right outfit, you’re well on your way to becoming a dance guru.
2.  Hear That?
You’re going to have to dance to all kinds of music.  You might not like some of it.  You might love it.  It doesn’t matter as long as you’re dancing.  Make sure to find something you like about it at least.  All music has some sort of beat.  Find that and match your movements, and you’re dancing.  As long as you like a little bit of the music, then you’re going to be more confident in your sweet moves.  It’s the difference between scaring people off and having people join you.

3.  Location, Baby
Where are you dancing?  Popular spots include night clubs, ball rooms, weddings, and parties at a friend’s place.  You need to have some environmental awareness.  If you do an inappropriate dance at someone’s place, they will not forget.  You shouldn’t do a club dance at a church, if you ever want to be invited back.  While a waltz would go over great in a royal court, you shouldn’t attempt it in a dark place with a DJ spinning beats.  Know your environment.
4.  Matchmaker
Dancing with a partner is one of life’s great joys.  sometimes it’s unfair or uneven, but even if you’re stuck doing everything backwards and in heels, you’re still doing a wonderful dance.  You need to make sure that you and your partner are compatible.  The size difference between the two of you shouldn’t be huge.  You should enjoy being in close sweaty contact for stressful bursts of time.  IF you can find someone who doesn’t mind stepping on toes, stick with them.

5.  The Leap
Just dance.  That’s the only step.  Music and rhythm makes you move in certain ways.  Just feel it in your gut and listen to it.  Every member of your family line has danced, and so will you.  you just have to make it happen.  Don’t worry what anyone else will say or think, because they have the same lack of skill as you.  Move!  Stay in shape!  Dance is a body and soul work out.  If you deny yourself the right of dance, you’re losing out on a wonderful part of life.
6.  Booze
Feel free to get drunk.  It makes you an awesome dancer.
